Homegrown Project Joins
Rock The Moon Productions and PRISM Music Group
Miami, FL, November 25, 2015- At a pivotal moment in the development and expansion of Miami's music scene, Call to Music has put the spotlight on local talent. The collaboration between Rock The Moon Productions and PRISM Music Group set the stage for a three-day celebration of live performances from September 8 through the 10, showcasing over 20 local bands and artists covering a myriad of genres.
With Sidebar providing the backdrop for the commemorative event, the grand finale was an invitation-only concert with over 600 attendees that featured Magic City Hippies, ArtOfficial, and headliner, Locos por Juana.
"The intention is to integrate Miami's music scene with homegrown talent through collaborations and by capturing magical performances that are professionally filmed. We are proud to be at the forefront of cultivating this type of musical environment," said Rock The Moon Productions, CEO, Tony Gonzalez.
Recently, independent music has been having a hard time getting the exposure it rightfully deserves, and Call to Music has altered this path. Defined as a nascent relationship between musician, fan and media, Call to Music aspires to create opportunities for independent musicians who face challenges due to the lack of live-music venues and the shortcomings of not being able to properly exhibit their craft on digital platforms.
Given the success of the inaugural event, Call to Music will be a bi-annual event anchored in South Florida with plans to expand to other major US cities in the near future.
