A Night in Latin America
Over 50 bands from 16 countries United in One Unprecedented Live Streaming Initiative
Featuring Locos por Juana
Miami, FL - December 2, 2015-- After months of groundwork, the Latin American Association of Music Managers, part of the global network of the International Management Music Forum (IMMF), will join on December 5th more than 50 Latin American bands simultaneously in a marathon show. This will be broadcast live on the Association's website, Una Noche En Latinoamérica (A Night in Latin America).
The project consisting of 20 synchronized shows in 16 countries and involving over 50 bands, aims to illustrate the capacity, quality, and diversity of Latin American artistic talent across the continent. Pan-Latin funk band, Locos por Juana, GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY nominees, will embody the Hispanic community in the US being the only band invited to a show dubbed by the organizers as "an unprecedented event."
In an intimate evening as part of the ART Basel, Locos por Juana, "one of Miami's longest-standing bands" as dubbed by Miami New Times, will share the stage with the multifaceted artist Daniel Fila, better known as KRAVE, who will paint live and whose work ranges from figurative murals installations to abstract paintings, animations and urban sculpture using a variety of techniques and aesthetics.
In Addition to the United States, via the partnership with Multimedia company, Rock The Moon Productions, which plays a key role in organically uniting America with Latin America, participating countries include Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador, Peru, Cuba, Brazil and Argentina. A plethora of musical genres, styles, bands, and artists from Pepe Aguilar to Tulipa Ruiz, Juana Fe to Puerto Candelaria, Laguna Pai to Astro, among others, are the core of this production that will be broadcast from urban clubs, festivals and other rural locations taking the audience from Miami to Peru, and from Santiago to Madrid.
