Hialeah, FL, July 23, 2015 - Hialeah Park Casino's second anniversary celebration, scheduled for the weekend of August 14-15, will be highlighted by a Saturday August 15 evening performance by Locos Por Juana , the GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY-nominated Miami band known for energetic live shows and a unique fusion of music styles from around the globe.
Locos Por Juana , including vocalist Itawe Correa, guitarist Mark Kondrat, drummer Javier Delgado, trombonist Lasim Richards, and percussionist Carlos Palmet, will perform from 8 PM - 10 PM on the Fountain Terrace, Hialeah Park's recently renovated outdoor music venue located adjacent to the Casino.
"We are very excited," said Itawe Correa. "Being from Miami, it's a blessing and an honor that Locos Por Juana has been chosen to have a major role in a special celebration like the Casino's anniversary!"
"A celebration really fits our style," he added. "We bring a high energy show to our audience! It's all about being happy and having a positive message. We want everyone to have a great time with our music and go home with something to remember."
Those lofty aspirations have not gone unnoticed by various music industry publications, which have printed glowing words of praise for the band, such as the comments from Billboard Magazine, "Locos Por Juana has a devoted following thanks to its live shows and albums. This hard-gigging ensemble from Miami delivers a wildly diverse sound, ranging from rock to reggae with a generous splash of Latino Caribbean sounds in between."
